<p>The fuel injector comprises a spring-loaded (23) valve member (17) the spring acting on an annular element (34) secured to the member. The element has a bore (36) which is shaped to allow a profilated portion (30) of the member to pass in one angular position and to prevent passage after the element has been rotated into a second angular position. Locking means (42, 43) are provided which, together with the action of the spring, prevent relative rotation between the member and the element when they are in this second position.</p> |
