Automatic filling apparatus - by weight for foundry moulds

Apparatus for filling foundry moulds by wt. in which a ladle fitted with s topper rod is interposed between the crucible and the moulds carried on a roundabout or transporter. The stopper rod is controlled by a control device and the ladle is combined with weighing apparatus also connected to the control device. The capacity of the ladle is greater than that of the moulds. The weighing device furnishes a signal to the control device when the correct quantity of metal has been poured into the mould and also when the ladle needs recharging. The control device also controls tilting of the crucible to refill the ladle and movement of the transporter to bring a mould under the ladle.
