The prefabricated decorative assembly comprises a prismatic base component resting on the ground, and on which smaller prismatic components rest. One of these can extend to the ceiling, and the base component can have a reflecting surface above it. Each component can comprises a metal frame on which decorative plates are fixed. Assembly can be by bolts, screws, and angle-pieces. The plates can be mounted on the frames by means of brackets bearing against the inside faces of the former, with bolts passing through the brackets and screwing into nuts accommodated flush inside the plates.
