<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate both the display irregularity when an electric field is applied to a liquid crystal and the coloration when viewed obliquely by intersecting the projection of the evaporating direction of a first layer upon a substrate and the projection of the evaporating direction of a second layer upon the substrate at a right angle. CONSTITUTION:For arrangement of a liquid crystal, one of upper and lower substrates in obliequely evaporated at an evaporation angle of 10 to 75 degrees, which is defined by the angle from the normal direction of a plate, whereas the other substrate is evaporated with a first layer at an evaporation angle of 75 to 90 degrees, e.g., 80 degrees and with a second layer at an evaporation angle of 10 to 75 degrees, e.g., 60 degrees. The projection of the evaporating direction 6 of the first layer upon the substrate 4 is intersected at a right angle with the projection 9 of the evaporating direction 8 of the second layer.</p> |
