Replaceable emulsion for photocopier drum - is applied to slotted drum with securing pegs and overlapping end to emulsion

The sheet of photoconducting emulsion (53) is fitted to the process drum of the photocopier using a special slot with inward facing pegs (33) to grip the perforated end of the emulsion. The sheet is wound around the drum and the trailing end overlaps the slot. The sheet is guided around the drum by side flanges from the slot. The sheet is easily fitted by non-skilled operators and thus saves on service visits.
