<p>PURPOSE:To provide an energy conservation linear motor propulsive railway vehicle which absorbs energies at the vehicle decelerating and braking time by utilizing its flywheel and discharges them at the vehicle propelling time. CONSTITUTION:An energy recovering unit 30 is attached to the body of a linear motor propulsive railway vehicle having guide wheels 22 interlocked to the unit 30 and rotated in contact with lateral guide rails, at the side of the body thereof. This unit 30 consists of differential gear means C provided within the wheels 22, clutch brake means B provided at the supporting shafts 13, 13a of a pair of bevel gears 20, 20a, respectively, planetary gear transmission A for coupling one respective rotary terminals with the shafts 13, 13a, respectively, and flywheels supported at the other rotary terminal for alternatively recovering and discharging the rotary momentum of the wheels 22 to and from the respective flywheels 7.</p> |
