The single pipe clamp has a connecting piece releasably fitted in it and provided with at least two ends for fixture. A common clamp slot (15) is available for the pipe to be clamped and the connecting piece and the clamping surfaces are round and/or multi-angled. The connecting piece and the clamp can be joined by interengaging teeth. The connector is cylindrical and hollow, with both inner and outer union flangles. The connector can accommodate a tube to act as a clothes peg or a hook on which to hang a glass.
