The central locking system for the vehicle has a bolt operated by the ignition lock linked to the engine and boot covers by Bowden cables. Other doors of the vehicle are also locked with the locks released by a special impulse generator operated by the ignition key. The mechanical lock and the impulse lock are not easily forced. If the ignition lock is forced then the correct impulses cannot be obtained to release the other locks.
