PURPOSE:To improve the S/N ratio of neutron detecting circuit by amplifying the output of a fission counter tube to the first power, second power, third power, and fourth power, averaging them, and introducing the average into an operational circuit. CONSTITUTION:The output from a neutron detector 11 is fed into plural amplifiers 12 which are designed to amplify the output to the first power, second power, third power, and fourth power. The outputs from the amplifiers 12 are averaged in an averaging circuit 13, and led into corresponding operational circuit 14. Going from output terminal 1 to 4 in the operational circuit 14, the neutron signal improved greatly in S/N is outputted, so that the optimum signal may be obtained from the detection level and noise level.
