Fast starting system for static inverter - applies extra triggering pulses to turn thyristors in commutating circuits OFF

The fast starting system, is designed for use with a static inverter. It has a switching unit controlled by a start circuit and blocking or passing triggering pulses to the main and the turn-off thyristors. On receipt of a start command the switching unit applies triggering pulses from the triggering pulse generator that is already running to the main thyristors and to the turn-off thyristors and in addition passes an extra triggering pulse to the turn-off thyristor in the commutating circuit for the main thyristor lying in the same limb of the bridge opposite with the main thyristor already turned on.
