The interior of the padded sun visor has two flexible bands (3) looped over upper and lower pivots and supporting an extension plate (2) for the sun visor. This can be pulled out of a slit at the bottom and is normally fully enclosed inside the visor. The upper pivots are formed by the pivot axes (4) of the visor while the lower pivots are supplied to the interior frame of the visor. The extension can also be tilted when fully extended.
