DETECTION PRECESSING SYSTEM FOR PATTERN REGION

PURPOSE:To detect and display the region including a epecific region rapidly and automatically, by detecting the position of the specifice region for the code detection and by detecting the code equivalent to the detected run-lenght code from run- length codes of the next scanning line. CONSTITUTION:A specifie region of a figure displayed on display part 6 is position- detected 7 by using a light pen, and a code covering the position is code-detected 8 from buffer memory 3 by using memory read part 4. Then, region detection part 9 detects a code indicating the same region as a RL code detected by detection part 8 from RL codes of the next scanning line utilizing that a code before or after the run- length RL code detected by detection part 8 indicates the boundary line. Consequently, only the assigment of one part of the figure region makes it possible to detect a region including the part automatically and rapidly.
