PURPOSE:The catalytic reactor being capable of removing dust by taking out the catalyst bed units outside the reactor during the operation, which is constituted of the catalyst bed units arranged oppositely at both sides of the opening parts on the floor plate having plural opening parts in the width direction of the housing and the gas sealing means for the taking-in holes and taking-out holes for exchanging the units. CONSTITUTION:The reaction gas flowing into the lower chambers of the housing 2 through the introduction pipe 8 for the reaction gas, enters into the chambers between the rows of the opposite catalyst bed units 4 through each of the opening parts 3, posses through the units 4 at both sides of the opening parts 3, reaches the upper chamber of the housing 2 and is discharged through the leading-out pipe 11 for the reaction gas. The gas seal at the taking-in holes 12 and the taking-out holes 13 for the reaction gas during the operation is secured with the air curtain 16 by means of the air ejectors 14 and the air collectors 15 for air-sealing installed at both sides of the taking-out holes 13 and the taking-in holes 12 for exchanging the units 4 equipped on the side walls of the housing 2. Accordingly, even during the operation, by inserting the new units 4', the old units 4'' can be taken out successively, so that the exchange of the units is easy. For the units 4'', the dust removal treatment is performed appropriately. |
