PURPOSE:To provide a remedy for nephric disease and secondary hyperlipemia originated from nephric disease, having low side effects, containing D-isomer of methylmethionine sulfonium salt as an effective component. CONSTITUTION:Remedy for nephric disease and secondary hyperlipemia originated from nephric disease, containing a methyl-D-methionine sulfonium salt of formula (R- is inorganic or organic anion, pref. Cl-) as an effective component. Dose: 500 -1000 mg/day for adult for oral administration. The D-isomer has exceedingly high remedying effect for nephric disease compared to the DL-isomer, and the L- isomer has only very poor effect iveness. |
