The baffle plate for installation in the bottom distributing pipe of a radiator has forward and return pipes and an injection pipe leading into the return pipe. It is made of permanently elastic, hot water-resistant material and is mounted stationarily on the end of the injector pipe by groove-like narrowed regions and a stop at its head end. The baffle plate closes off the annular chamber between injector pipe and bottom distributing pipe relative to the bottom distributing pipe chamber which is connected to the fall pipes and directly connected to the interior of the injector pipe. The baffle plate may be a flattened collar which becomes narrower towards the exterios and of which the dia. is maintained larger than the max. radius of the bottom distributing pipe.
