In a grader blade actuator, having a frame, pair of opposing pivot arms are connected to the frame. A link member is pivotally interconnecting the arms and a blade member. A diagonal fluid cylinder is pivotally connected at one end to one of the link member and pivot arm and at the other end to the blade member. A pair of fluid actuatable lift cylinders are each of a construction sufficient for connecting a respective pivot arm to a respective end portion of the blade member. The improvement comprises at least one of the pair of lift cylinders having a longitudinal axis and a middle portion having at least two releasable connecting units spaced apart a preselected distance along the longitudinal axis of the middle portion with each being selectively connectable to the respective pivot arm. |
