An emulsion of water in molten reinforced rosin is prepared in the presence of a dispersing agent and the emulsion is then inverted by addition of water. By virtue of the use, as dispersing agent, of a soluble compound providing the anion of formula I in which R denotes a C4-18 alkyl group and n is an integer from 4 to 25, it is no longer necessary to add a protective colloid such as casein. <IMAGE> |
