PURPOSE:To expand the field of functions applicable to an electronic watch by providing a multilayer display device of liquid crystal layers so as to realize various complicated displays of a multifunction watch within the same display frame. CONSTITUTION:In a 2-layer display device consisting of 3 pieces of transparent electrode substrates 51 to 53, liquid crystal layer 54 and reflector 55, by applying an electric field to electrode substrates 51 and 52, the displays of hour, minute, second, date and day may be realized, and by applying an electric field to electrode substrate 52 and 53, the display of calendar of a month may be realized. |
