<p>PURPOSE:To display a file name list containing the file names and their sequence independently of the file names by using the file name display sequence key which are independent of the file names. CONSTITUTION:When a user wants to display a file name list in the order of FILENAME1, 3, 2 and 4, the user gives a request to a file name display sequence key setting means 1 to set the file name display sequence keys at 1,001, 1,002, 2,001 and 2,002 respectively. Thus the means 1 sets these sequence keys at a file definition information control table VTOC 3. The user requests a file name list display means 2 to display the file name list. The name 2 display the file names of the VTOC 3 in the sorting order of the file name display sequence keys. Thus the file names are displayed in the prescribed sequence as desired by the user.</p> |
