A vulcanizable composition which comprises epichlorohydrin rubber and at least one amino acid selected from the group consisting of arginine, lysine, hydroxylysine, ornithine, asparagine, glutamine and citrulline. The epichlorohydrin rubbers of this invention, after vulcanisation, find use in environments requiring oil and combustion resistance, heat resistance, and low gas permeability. |
