METHOD OF EXTINGUISHING LATENT IMAGE ON PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL ALLOWING RECORDING OF ANOTHER E ON SAME MATERIAL
摘要

A photographic material coated with a composition essentially consisting of discrete particles of a halogenated hydrocarbon and an N-vinyl compound in a hydrophilic binder is heated at a temperature between 60 and 120.degree.C after an imagewise exposure to extinguish the produced latent image if development of the latent image is unwanted. A separate image can be recorded thereafter on the same material with substantially no influence of the initial latent image.
