<p>Three stage pressure control for use in conjunction with cold pressure die casting machines comprises a pressure member consisting of a compacting cylinder with a punch and a pressure cylinder with a pressure punch in series with it, working so as to generate a three part travel and pressure cycle for the press, separate hydraulic fluid lines being used for each pressure, the first two pressures being applied additively on the pressure piston face and the third on the compacting piston face. Pref. the actuation of the various pressure stages can be adjusted by limit switches set off by the main piston.</p> |
