<p>The luminescent and laser diode is mounted in a housing , and the monitor is intended for detecting the reduction of its emission capacity during its service life. The monitoring uses a light conductor (9) aligned with the auxiliary intensity of the diode (2). The part of this intensity detected by the light conductor serves as monitoring criterion for the diode main intensity. Preferably the housing has a lens (101), with which it is inserted into a tubular holder. The latter has a lateral oblique bore (12), aligned with the lens window edge, for retaining the light conductor. To the light conductor is typically connected a monitoring circuit for indication of the light output not reaching the preset value.</p> |
