Impact-resistant thermoplastic compns. Which have good physical properties were manufd. by grafting rubber (in latex) 100 wt. part with arom. Vinylmonomer, cyanovinyl monomer or acrylic monomer 80-300 wt. part in 2 steps. The 1st step grafting involved 10-50% of the total rubber used, with particle size>=0.3μ, and 1-50% of the total graft monomer used. The 2nd emulsion polymn. involved addn. of the remaining rubber with particle size<=0.3μ and graft monomers.
