<p>PURPOSE:To alleviate the mutual interference between commutating coil and noncommutating coil and also to improve the transient follow-up characteristics of compensating magnetic flux by removing the damper conductor in a region located in void space present in coil during commutation. CONSTITUTION:The damper 110 is deliberately removed in the A. C. winding existing zone 101c during commutation. Thus, when current is sent to the compensating winding 103 which followd the variation in A. C. winding current, compensating magnetic flux can be promptly supplied, and therefore commutating action of good transient characteristics can be obtained.</p> |
