<p>Pads for stalks on the nose bridge of a pair of spectacles are made of a pliant material which may be shaped to fit the wearer's nose. Pref. the pads are made of silicone rubber or EVA copolymer, specifically 'Alathon' (RTM-Du Pont). The pads are internally supported by reinforcement made of annealed metal, or metal alloy, based on Al, Ni, Zn, bronze or a low carbon steel.</p> |
