Insulated floor construction system - using insulating material deposited on support between walls below floor level

The system constructs a thermally insulated floor by laying it on supporting walls and with a layer of insulating material underneath. Supporting members (6) are fixed between the walls (1, 2) below the level fo the floor underside, and the insulating material is fixed to or laid loose on them. The floor itself is then separately completed above it. The members can be wires stretched taut between the walls, and anchored to hooks or eyes grouted into the latter.
