Pistol head for blending and spraying polyurethane foams - with non-return valves and detachable nozzles to eliminate fouling

A pistol for mixing and spraying reagents to form e.g. polyurethane foams, where the pistol head incorporates spring-loaded valves in the passages in the pistol body for receiving the individual reagent imputs and a detachable nozzle for bending and discharging the reactive mixture. Esp. for dispensing rapid curing foams in applications requiring frequent and/or prolonged interruption of spraying, e.g. injecting of foam backing into a succession of freshly loaded boxes or injecting of insulation into structures involving intermittent inspection or positioning of inserts. The pistol head can be purged or the nozzle removed for cleaning or replacement without disturbing the primary stop valves for the individual reagent supply passages.
