PURPOSE:To make it possible to use both sides of a magnetic tape by arranging magnetic heads so that the both sides may be recorded or reproduced. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape 23 is made to run on a take-up reel 21 and a let- off reel 22, and there are arranged in the vicinity thereof magnetic heads 24a and 24b and capstans 25a and 25b. The magnetic tape 23 has its both sides coated or plated with a magnetic material such that its both sides are recorded or reproduced by the magnetic heads 24a and 24b, respecitvely. The magnetic heads 24a and 24b may simultaneously accomplish the recording or reproducing operations, if desired. |
