PURPOSE:The title jig for connecting deformed rubber tubes, etc. easily and securedly, by shifting a plurality of movable reverse tapered wedges toward the radial directions using a remote rotating means to rotate a cone-shifting member, thereby correcting the deformation of the rubber tubes. CONSTITUTION:A connecting jig is inserted into a long polyethylene tube A having a crushed and deformed end, from the other end thereof, and fixed with a fixing axis 1 by the aid of a fixing arm of a remote rotating means 11. The handle of said rotating means is turned to shift a locking nut 9 toward the end of the fixed axis 1. A slidable cone 7 is shifted toward the direction of the locking nut 9, thereby shifting four reverse tapered movable wedges 19a-19d along the slant surfaces of the stationary cone 6 and the slidable cone 7. Correcting members 20a-20d, attached to the movable wedges 19a-19d, are shifted outward to expand the tube A therby correcting the deformation of the tube. |
