The control valve is used in a vehicle brake system, and has a closure element responding to inertia forces. The valve closure ball(12) can contact a stop needle(13) for holding the valve open when the actuating preloaded piston(6) moves a specified distance out of its rest position. The valve can be closed when the piston is in the at rest position. The stop needle passes through piston central channel(9).
