<p>Microcapsules with a liq. or soilid fillter are produced by spray drying in a ternary nozzle. Two concentric supply pipes are used for the liq. to be encapsulated and for the wall material, dissolved in a solvent. A third outer annulus is used to introduce atomising air tangentially to the other streams and to atomise the entire cross-section of them. This is a simple device for microencapsulation which is easy to control is not restricted to a narrow range of monomers for a thermoinduced film formation.</p> |
