Height adjustable safety strip for lifting platforms - has inclined strips fitted in inner angles near safety strip flanges

The height adjustable safety strip is suspended laterally under the top frame of lifting tables or platforms. On displacement upwards, the strip interrupts the motion of the platform. Below the outer edge of the platform are two spaced frames between which a safety strip grips. At its bottom edge, the strip has an inwards pointing flange, on which upwards pointing support bolts are arranged and grip through holes in inwards pointing supports fixed to the second frame. When the safety strip is displaced upwards onto the supports, the pins operate contacts which stop the drive. Inclined strips (5c) are arranged in the inner angles between the vertical shank (5c) and the inwards directed flanges (5b) of the safety strip (5).
