<p>An injection nozzle or similar for injection moulding, extruders, etc. has a central bore congt. a filter between the bore and the nozzle outlet and the many fine perforations in the filter emerge into grooves or channels along the exterior surface. The total cross-sections of the perforations and grooves are greater than that of the nozzle outlet. Filter removes foreign particles over a certain size but without significantly increasing flow resistance to the polymer.</p> |
