The stay arm mechanism for combined revolving and tilting windows has a stay arm engaging with the moving frame edge. In the closed position, all stay arm mechanism parts are concealed in the upper groove of the frame. This mechanism can be used for left or right hand fixing. The stay arm (5) mid section forms a four bar linkage with the arm (11) and two levers (13, 14). One of the two levers has an extension (19) on which is pivoted the guide arm (23). One end of the stay arm is pivoted and its other end is able to slide and pivot.
