The housing (10) of the water supply and discharge unit has pipe inlet openings and at least a siphon chamber (12) with a cover seal. The siphon channel is formed between internal walls (15, 16 18, 19). The cover has an opening through which is introduced the connection pipe or fitting. Shut-off valves (31) for the water supply lines (29) are located in the housing. The external cover plate which seals off the wall opening in which the housing is installed is held in place by permanent magnets on the housing.
