Rotary electric machine with reduced armature reaction - has pole laminations interleaved with non-magnetic material for flux to encounter high magnetic reluctance
摘要

The rotary electric machine includes laminations in the poles and yokes associated with the energising windings. The laminations are arranged to be parallel to the axis of rotation and are interleaved with non-magnetic or poorly magnetic material. Thus in order to reduce armature reaction the laminations are so arranged that the magnetic flux which is provided by armature current flow encounters a high magnetic reluctance. Armature reaction may be further reduced by leaving a space between adjacent halves of the poles. This construction is also applicable to machines with commutating poles.
