<p>PURPOSE:The amount of the air required for burning is calculated, the amount of recycled exhaust gas is determined and the actual amount of recycled exhaust gas is adjusted to the determined one, thereby recycling an optimum part of exhaust gas into the burning chamber, saving energy and reducing the evolution of nitrogen oxides. CONSTITUTION:The exaust gas is sampled from flue 13 and the oxygen concentration is continuously determined with oxygen meter 14 and the signals are sent to arithmetic unit 12. The air/fuel ratio is calculated in airthmetic unit 12 and the signals are sent to another arithmetic unit 15 where the signals from gas-flow detector 16 is received and the amount of the air for burining 17 in natural draft is calculated. Meanwhile, the signals of operation rate is intorduced into arithmetic unit 19 where the signals from gas calorimeter 11 are received to calcutate the optimum recycling rate, which is sent to arithmetic unit 20. The signals of the amount of the air actually used at present is sent from arithmetic unit 15 to another arithmetic unit 20 where the amount of recycled exhaust gas is determined and the signals are sent to flow controller 22 in exhaust gas recycling line 21. The signals sent to flow controller 22 operate control valve 23 to recycle the optimum amount of exhaust gas to coke furnace.</p> |
