PURPOSE:To make it possible to set any stroke, and to reduce the calorific value and magnetic leakage, by constituting an actuator base element, composed of a bimorph piezoelectric vibrator, into the lamination constitution. CONSTITUTION:Into cylindrical case 1, piston rod 2, a plural number of actuator base elements 3, guide sleeve 4, return spring 5, and stopper 6 are provided. Two bimorph piezoelectric vibrators 11, obtained by sticking piezoelectric bodies 9 to either side or both sides of the belly of elastice metal plate 8 formed in a U shape, are combined in a rectangular shape to obtain element 3, which curves into a convexo-convex shape by the voltage applied to vibrator 11, and several elements 3 are laminated to obtain a needed stroke at the output terminal of rod 2. Therefore, controlling the voltage applied to piezoelectric body 9 makes it possible to vary the displacement of the rod freely within the storke range. |
