<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject method wherein, at the time of inserting an insulating reinforcement constituting the cable connected portion on the terminal end, an annular bearing is utilized, thereby preventing damage or deformation of the insulating reinforcement. CONSTITUTION:On cable cores 1 requiring connection there are inserted leading strings 6 provided with a plurality of spherical bodies or circular cylinders 2 tied in row along the core, and a rubber mold insulating reinforcement 4 is caused to slide on the annular bearing 3 and inserted in one cable core 1 to connect the cable conductor to the sleeve. Then, the insulating reinforcement 4 which has been inserted in the cable core is caused to slide on the annular bearing 3 in the direction indicated by arrow to pull the same back to the conductor connecting part 5. The leading string tied to the annular bearing 3 is pulled from the terminal end of the insulating reinforcement 4 which has been pulled back to the predetermined position, whereby the annular bearing 3 which has been inserted in the cable core 1 is led out and eliminated, and the peripheral surfaces of the fitting holes of the insulating reinforcement 4 tightly adhere on the cable cores 1 and 1.</p> |
