<p>PURPOSE:The title device designed to preheat introduced air and pass it through a pair of sole flues, wherein a specific heat exchanger is equipped crossing a combination of pair of connecting pipes connecting gas selector valves to the pair of sole flues, and a pair of connecting pipes neighboring the abovementioned pipes. CONSTITUTION:The gas selector valves 4 and 4' are equipped on the ends of outer sides of a furnace of a pair of sole flues 2 and 2', which are installed in parallel under regenerators of the coke oven 1. The exchanger 11, which preheats the introduced air indirectly with a heating medium absorbed the sensible heat of exhaust gas, is equipped detachably in the connecting pipes 3 and 3' crossing a combination of a pair of connecting pipes 3 and 3' the gas selector valves 4 and 4' wneighboring the above-mentioned pipes. In the case where the exhaust gas is discharged from a pair of the right sole flues and air is charged from a pair of the lefr sole flues, the exhaust gas heats the heating medium by its sensible heat and is passed through the flow paths 19 and 20 of the heat exchangr 11, and introduced air is heated by the heating medium thus heated in passing through the flow path 18.</p> |
