PURPOSE:To enable rhythm patterns to be set arbitrarily at the player's will by using an address generator which generates address signals at a desired speed and a random access memory (RAM) which stores rhythm patternes, etc. CONSTITUTION:An address generator 4 outputs the address signals ADi to the corresponding output lines according to the count values of a clock generator 1, by which the write and read addresses are assigned. A rhythm pattern forming switch part 5 has switches S1 thru Sn of at least the number corresponding to the number of rhythm sound sources. As these switches are opened and closed, the rhythm patterns corresponding to the respective rhythm sound sources are written in a random access memory 6, and the plural rhythm pattern signals being read out from said RAM 6 are fed to a rhythm sound sorce circuit 12, and the plural rhythm sound signals are outputted from a sound system 13. |
