PURPOSE:To provide an accompaniment apparatus capable of corresponding to multiple kinds of chords without increasing the storage contents of ROM by converting the pitch name signals from the ROM to the pitch name signals corresponding to the chord kinds of chord signals in a note conversion circuit. CONSTITUTION:The pitch name signal of only one kind of chord such as C major chord, etc. having been stored in ROM 32 is read out through a counter 30, and is applied to a note conversion circuit 39. On the other hand, the chord signals being outputted by a chord detection circuit 22 according to key touching of accompaniment keys are applied to this conversion circuit 39, by which opening and closing of the logic gate constituting the circuit 39 are controlled and the contents of the respective bits forming the pitch name signal are converted according to the chord signals and are converted to the pitch name signal corresponding to the chord sound kinds, whereby the accompaniment sounds are formed. Hence, the accompaniment apparatus capable of corresponding to the multiple chords of the simple constitution of not requiring ROMs of large capacity contents storing the pitch name signals corresponding to various chords may be provided. |
