PURPOSE:To widen the range of strobe photographing by controlling the light emission quantity of strobe in cooperation with object distance and the film sensitivities used. CONSTITUTION:When the sensitivity of a film is set with a film sensitivity setting ring, respectively a pair of short distance and remote distance resistances R2al and R2b1, R2a2 and R2b2... etc. corresponding to the film sensitivity are selected via coupling brushes B2a, B2b, and the resistnace values of the resistances R2a1, R2a2... and R2b1, R2b2... are adjusted by the brushes B1a, B1b through the distance ring according to the subject distance. Hence, if the strobe device is connected to the camera via terminals (a), (b) and a switch S3 is closed, the apparent change by the film sensitivity of the guide number correesponding to the light emission quantity of the strobe device of a constant light emission quantity is corrected in cooperation with the object distance and film sensitivity, and automatic stopping corresponding to the subject luminance via photo detector P is accomplished by a meter M. As a result, the object distances are not limited by the film sensitivities and the range of photographing is expanded. |
