<p>The wheel assembly has a fixed axle (6), two roller bearings (2) (3) and a hollow rim (8) with beads to house the tyre. The flange and rim are formed by two coned partes (11) (12). The longer cone diameters butt against each other and are held by bolts (18). The smaller (21) (22) diameters have a cylindrical collar (23). The collars lock and form a tubular support and shoulder the bearings at the same time. The bearings are identical and the races are held apart by a tubular spacer. Radial and axial forces are transmitted from the axle to the inner races.</p> |
