Hydraulic oil air separation system - has reservoir inlet diffusers widening and outlet jets narrowing in flow direction

The system reduces air absorption and improves air separation from the cil of a hydraulic system with reservoir. Each inlet into the reservoir (1) is followed by a diffuser (14) widening in the flow direction, while each outlet from it is preceded by a jet (11) narrowing in the flow direction. The lengthwise axes of the two inlet diffusers can be horizontal and those of the outlet jets vertical. The diffusers can be mounted in the sidewalls (12, 13) of the reservoir compartments (7, 8) and the nozzles in the bottom (9) or vice-versa.
