<p>Rooms in hospitals or private houses where patients with infectious diseases have been, or germ laboratories, are disinfected by heating a disinfectant soln. in an enclosed cylinder to a set pressure above atmosphere. On reaching this pressure, evapd. soln. is sprayed in the room, while the pressure in the cylinder is maintained. The arrangement requires no elaborate preparation or sealing of the rooms. A quick and reliable disinfection is achieved by a simple and low-cost appliance.</p> |
