The floor slab comprises a sheet-metal panel (1), the edges (2) of which are bent off in order to achieve the necessary degree of rigidity for bearing loads. In order to improve the anti-slip factor, slots (3), also intended for discharging liquids and excrement, are offset by 90 DEG rather than being arranged in the same direction in a row. This results in the webs, otherwise formed between them, being interrupted, thus avoiding continuous "slipping" paths. Corresponding gripping edges are formed by the edges of the slots. A substantial improvement is provided by the additional texturing of the sheet metal by ribs or studs (4). <IMAGE>
