<p>Device includes a table onto which the web is rolled flat by a carriage. The table has perforations, and a series of bars beneath, carrying needles and moveable on guide rods. The bars can be raised by a drive mechanism so that the needles pass through the perforation and penetrate the web to hold it in position. The device can be operated automatically, and the needles are guided by the perforations in the bars during their movement.</p> |
