Sack removal unit for rotary marking machine - grips each sack as it leaves machine and deposits it on stack

The sacks are fed individually into the rotary marking machine from which their exit is detected by an ultrasonic gate (3). This activates the gripper (4) which is moved horizontally by a pneumatic piston with rod (5). The gripper comprises a fixed plate (6) with an attached swivable fork (7). The closing action is effected by swivelling of the fork using a spring. The gripper withdraws the sack from the machine and releases it onto a reception stack. The to-and-fro motion of the rod is released via the gate through an impulse magnetic valve (12).
